June 2008 catolag and pin

helloha!

i stayed up tonight for the catolags and they are out! this is a very good catolag even though one of my fav tems the water vest returned. but 2 very rare items the pink and bue bikinis are back! HOT! XD

they aslo have a new system so u can get penguin poses for most items. i have an animation here.

There is 1 new back round and 1 old one and 2 REALLY old ones.

there was also a pair of green flip flops and aviator glasses( 80’s man!).

New newspaper

Hey!

The water party is coming! Yes, the summer kick off party is actually gonna be a water party! If you don’t know why last year’s water party began, I’ll tell you. One day, in the pool, the usual crab passed by the windoew and knocked on it. Unfortunately, the window broke and all Club Penguin got flooded! It was awesome! Make sure to not miss the party from the 13th of June to the 17th, the flood returns!!! I wonder how they are going to make the water come, break the window on purpose??? What do u think? Comment!

End of school beggining of summer contest!

As the title says im hosting an End of school beggining of summer contest!

The contest is a penguin drawing contest! you must draw a penguin either on your computer or on a paper and scan it.

Rules:

1. Must be a club penguin based character.
2. no violence or blood what so ever.
3. Only one entry per person.

There will be 3 winners. 1,2, and 3 the first place winner will get to choose first then the 2nd then 3rd.

prizes:

• mystery box????
• buddy in cp
• on blog roll for 3 weeks
• specially made header.

Ive made a hidden page somewhere on this site. It has the mystery box prise and tips on ho you can win. If you find it, comemnt there and you will get a prize even if you dont win the main contest.

Summer kick off party sneak peek!

Hey everybody,

Here is the summer party sneak peek:

I wasnt there at the last party but my sis was, she showed it to me and it was freakin awesome!!!! The party is going to be from the 13th to the 18th of June, long time Club Penguin is gonna realease new sneak peeks soon. yay!

In other news… The winners of my contest are announced.

The first one is Cold123guy who’s been added to the top of my blogroll and gave me his penguin so that I can put him in my vid.

Hello Penguins!

There were some great winning igloos announced in the Club Penguin Times on Thursday (and even more winners than I had originally heard there were going to be!) And the winning stories for the Book Contest were added to the Book Room today!!

Be sure to check them out–the book is called Penguin Tales Spring ‘08. All three of the stories are really creative and fun to read. Congratulations to Sammysays,Chochypop, and Lolliepops10 for winning! There were a lot of submissions for this contest, and a lot of good stories to choose from–hopefully in the future we can have more contests!

In other news: Some of you are wondering where the red construction helmet came from that some penguins are wearing. It is a special thank you gift given to penguins who helped with the Server Test in March on the Club Penguin Improvement Project CPIP). It’s only for those who helped with the test. Hello Penguins!

I hope all of you who received the CPIP Server Test thank you item are enjoying it! There’s been a lot of talk recently about the release of the new features and I want to give you an update on all of them, but to make it easier, we’re going to focus on one per post.

First–and the feature I’m most excited about–is Penguin Mail. A couple of weeks ago I talked briefly about an update to the postcard system. If you missed that post, you can check it out in the archives of this blog.

The team has been working really hard on this feature.

Here’s the logo they’re playing with:

It will also be way easier because you be able to send buddies a postcard even if they are not logged in, and you’ll also be able to delete and SAVE your mail.

As always, we would love to know what you think. So keep up the feedback–it helps a lot!

I’ll have more info on Penguin Mail, the new player card and login next week.

Today is Friday so there should be much going on! But there isnt =( The only new things today are the new book and the CPIP item which isnt even out yet. Oh well…

New newspaper

Hey today there is a new newspaper. Here is how it looks like:

In pages A2, A3, A4, A5 it talks about the winners of the writing contest and gives a brief review of their story. The winners were Lolliepops10, Sammysays and Chochypop. Their books will be published in the book room tomorrow.

On pages A6 and A7 it announces the winners of the igloo contest which are:

I think the best igloos were made by Flyboy101, Cashmeres, Cycle22 and Georges8899.

On pages B1, B2, B3 and B4 you can find the in-focus feature. This week it’s focused on igloos.

On pages B5, B6 and B7 there are the usual questions. Nothing special but lol, look at this pic! I wish I had this puffle XD

On page B8 there is something called “The best secret in Club Penguin”. It tells you that if you press “e” with some other letter you will do an emotion. For example, if you press “e” and “m” you will do the money sign. Here is me doing the money sign:

Hello Penguins!

I hope you had a fantastic time at the party over the weekend! I hear there were some amazing igloo parties! The Medieval Party may be finished but things are far from slowing down!

Summer is coming quickly to Club Penguin and we’re getting ready for some really exciting releases that I will be sharing in the coming weeks. Until then, I wanted you to check out the community section on the website. A new wallpaper was added this week so we could all remember the Medieval Party. Be sure to check it out and let us know what you think.

The team is working on a few new additions to the community section. I’ll let you know more about that soon, and we’d love to hear other things you think should be added to that section.

Hello Penguins!

Many of you have been waiting VERY patiently for the thank you item for helping with Server Test in March and I wanted to be the first to let you know it will be added to your inventory on May 30! I don’t want to ruin the surprise about what it is so you’ll have to login on Friday to find out.

This item is only for those who helped with the Server Test event in March. If you logged in to help test you will receive the item. We wanted to deliver the item through Penguin Mail, but this feature along with the new login and player card won’t be ready for the end of May like we had originally hoped. The team has run into a few really big bugs that will take some time to sort out. They hope to have the new features ready to launch later in June.

In the meantime, we’ll be posting some updates on the new features–they may still have a lot of bugs to squash but they’ve done a lot of great work that we could definitely use your feedback on.
